Imagine sending an email to your subscribers and receiving responses like these:

• “Thank you so much for your email. What you shared was exactly what I needed to hear today.”

• “I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you. I am on this journey too.”

• “You have no idea how timely today’s email is for me!”

These are just a few quotes from the many email responses I’ve gotten from my subscribers this year.

But I did not begin this way.

The Hard Way to Build an Email List

Back in 2008, I started out with nothing.

No email list.

No subscribers.

NO CLUE.

For a decade, I built my email list the slow, frustrating way:

Trial-and-error

(mostly error)

I tried everything I could think of:

  • blogging daily
  • issuing monthly challenges
  • creating elaborate newsletters

But despite the time and energy I poured into executing my very best ideas, my email list didn’t grow.

In fact, I kept getting notifications from MailChimp telling me how many people were unsubscribing each day!

In a panic, I poured money into expensive courses and pricey membership sites.
I bought into the alluring belief: If I spend enough money, The Experts will solve my problem for me.

But they didn’t.

Instead, I became overwhelmed trying to follow dozens of Internet gurus, each one telling me to do (or not do) hundreds of contradictory things.

It all felt so defeating.

I just wanted to serve my people. I remember thinking, building an email list shouldn’t be so hard!

And while I was wrong about many things during my years of trial-and-error and guru chasing, I was right about one thing:

Building your email list shouldn’t be so hard.

Best Practices for Building Your Email List

Here at Communicator Academy, you’ll find articles and podcasts that will help you build your email list by discovering your audience’s needs, creating a freebie your audience will love, and growing your audience through guest blogging.

And the very best way I’ve discovered for building your email list is “Build Your List 101” by Crystal Paine of Your Blogging Mentor.

In one simple, strategic eCourse, you’ll master the best practices for attracting and serving your subscribers.

Crystal teaches you to

• establish a list growth strategy from the start
• create an offer that your target reader won’t be able to resist
• take your new subscribers on a journey that will keep them engaged
• find your target reader and increase subscriptions
• continue to improve your results as time goes on

Why do we trust Crystal’s voice above the noise of all the so-called “Experts”?

First of all, Crystal is a professional. Kathi and I met her at a speaker training event five years ago. She’s the founder of Money Saving Mom and Your Blogging Mentor, plus she’s the author of several books. She’s experienced, drawing from her own decade of “trials and errors” to help you do it right from the start. Crystal is still in the trenches. She blogs regularly to her hundreds of thousands of readers, so she knows the daily challenges you’re facing. Most importantly, Crystal is a friend who talks to you as an understanding guide and encouraging mentor, leading you to make progress one small step at a time .

If you’re tired of trying to build your email list via trial-and-error …

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the thousands of different voices telling you to do a million conflicting things …

If you’re just wishing somebody would tell you what to do and walk you through it …

… we think you’ll love “Build Your List 101.”
